The ZBA is a relief valve for Woodstock residents who want to build something that violates certain sections of the Woodstock Zoning Law. How it worksHow it works 1.You want to build something you go to the building inspector and he says you can’t because of a zoning law provision or you have a site plan and realize you are violating a zoning provision. You would then file an application for an area variance with the zba and have a hearing. Usually the applicant will get a response to an area variance request 2 weeks after the hearing. |
